The Types of Lolita

The "Rules"
More like guidelines

"It’s ok to break some of the rules, but if you break all of the rules, then it’s not Lolita anymore. All styles have a set of rules. It’s not like Lolita is the only fashion that has parameters. Picture the silhouette in your mind and try to stick to that. If you feel like wearing a skirt with a pair of flip-flops and a tank-top, while I’m sure it still looks cute, it’s simply no longer Lolita." -Tumblr User Zullala
-Always wear a blouse unless the dress has long sleeves
-Always wear at least 1 petticoat
-Only wear lolita shoes no sneakers or flip flops
-Wear Make-up it doesnt have to be much (at least some powder to keep your face from being shiny)
-Wear a wig or really style your hair dont just leave it down.
-Like with almost all fashions colour coordinate
-Your dress doesnt have to be Brand but keep it quality (NO MILANOO)
-Wear some kind of head piece whether it be a bow or a hat but never a Maxi pad headband
-There is such thing as too much lace
-Lolita already has a bad reputation so please dont make this worse with your actions and words while in lolita
