Found in the southern parts of Sudan,
Tanzania, and Uganda
Also found in the parts of Demoratic
Republic of the Congo Their length is 4 to 8 inches They only weigh
100-200 grams -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- chemicals called hormones, The chameleon's color
is controlled by body which affect pigments in skin The color responces to light intensity,
temperature, and emotional state coloration:brown,
brown-green, black The Latin name is Chamaeleo bitaeniatus Got the name two-lined
because it has two faint
bands running along it's
sides. DIET: insects Catches insects with extroardinarily long, sticky tongue Usually go for small insects method of reproduction: live bearer females have 1 or 2 clutches a year females have 3-25 young in a clutch Give live birth young are ignored by mother unless if she is hungry Two-lined Chameleon.
