Moss, Joyce, and George Wilson. Literature and Its times. Vol. 5. Detroit: Gale, 1997. Print.

Moss and Wilson wrote a five volume book series about important literature in the past one hundred years. The book consist of: summaries of books, inspiration for the books, interviews about the authors who wrote the novels, critics’ reviews, and their effect on the world. They cover every genre of literature with a formal tone. I only focused on the dystopia books that were included.
The authors of this informative text show no bias and leave their opinions about the novels out. They have encompassed the book with bountiful information that shows that they have researched every single book and care deeply about informing the reader about some of the best literature.
Parts of this books can be used by readers who want to learn more about some of literatures best pieces. This volume can be used if someone needed to do a book report. I wouldn’t recommend reading the whole thing, it is just for use of picking information about literature.
