The Advancement of Technology Technology plays a massive part in business communication and advertising. Communication is used through a variety of different forms such as; telephones, conference calls and e-mail. Advertising also uses many different forms such as; internet, television, billboards and the social network. Telephones, conference calls and emails are the most commonly used forms of communication. These help a business to run smoothly as they are quick and easy. Businesses use phones on a regular basis. Now a day it is becoming more common to send text messages between people as it is a less time consuming form of communication. Although it is not as
formal people are becoming more accepting
of this. Business calls are made regularly
and are an appropriate form of
communication when making agreements. Conference calls have a massive impact on time management. Now instead of travel for business deals the clients can be connected online within a few minutes. Saving both time and money.
It is also a very easy way to communicate
for business purposes, even interstate and internationally. E-mails are used for sending and receiving information about what is happening within a workplace. They are used in replacement of writing letters to a businessman to be sent immediately. E-mails can keep
people in contact regardless of time differences.
It also helps to send important information
which can be viewed at a later date. Advertising plays an
important role in making a
business successful. It shows the business logo, what the business offers and information about how to contact them. If a business does not use advertising it will not be
reaching its full potential.
By using advertisements the
business should have a greater inflow of customers. Internet, developed in the late 60’s to early 70’s, it has changed the way a business operates. Now it is a lot easier to spread your business and what it does with little time used. It has advanced businesses internationally. But it doesn't capture the
highest rate of customers attention. Television has a small percentage of affect. It only brings a few customers to the business. Television is also quite
expensive. Yet it is used by
many businesses. Technology in Business Billboards are the most effect form of advertising. On average it
brings 45% of the customers
to the store. The more signs
that a business has the more customers it will likely to have.
