Epicureanism The Stoicism philosophy Epicurus was the founder of Epicueamism The stoicism philosophy is based on the idea that to live a happy life you can't let emotions influence your decisions. Epicurus taught his students that finding happiness was the main goal of life They believed that the way to be happy was to avoid pain and worry To Epicurus pleasure meant spending time with friends and family, and learning not to be upset about problems Epicurus also taught them to limit their wants and live simply The Philosophy of Epicureanism and Stoicism And that happiness was the result of reason and sound thinking.
