Chicago, IL COLLEGE CHOICES Obstetricians and Gynecologists are specialists in women's health. They are responsible for women's general care, but they also provide care related to pregnancy and the reproductive system. My average salary would be about $100,00. Between 2010 and 2020, future demand is expected to grow 24%. That is more rapid than most careers. As I produce more knowledge and enhance my skills for the positions of my career, I will later establish my own private practice, as I intend to. ABOUT MY CAREER Purpose My goal is to attend a diverse university in Georgia, majoring in Biology. I want to influence a more healthy and promising future, starting with new born babies. This is my journey to becoming a successful OB/GYN. I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. In sixth grade, I made a big transition and moved to Riverdale, Georgia with my family. There was so much that made me stand out. I was not accustomed to so many African Americans, nor was I used to the average level of education. However, I have grown to familiarize myself with my strongest potential. I am very energetic, strong willed, and opinionated. The definition of a leader defines me: one who sets examples , but still has room for improvement. Job Requirements •4 years of undergraduate school
4 years of medical school
3 to 8 years of internship and residency
•Premedical students must complete undergraduate work in physics, biology, mathematics, English, and inorganic and organic chemistry Envision the future... "As one person, I cannot change the world, but I can change the world of one person."
