Transcript of nutritional diets prezi

How will those who have special nutritional requirements be catered for in the future?
Imagine this you have been starving for days then you find a piece of bread. You are so happy but just before you take a bite of that one thing you have wanted for days you can't eat it. WHY? because you are gluten-free. We need to figure out what we are going to do for people who are on nutritional diets during the Global Food Crisis.
Diets

Some people choose to diet so they can be thinner/healthier but most people on a nutritional diet are recommended by a professional . But vegetarian or vegan is sometimes a choice based on belief. But in some instances it is a choice based on health problems.

We did a survey on 80% of the middle school (St Cuthberts) to see how much people knew about nutritional diets.

What is a nutritional diet?
Restrictions in eating for health purposes.
Disadvantages to Nutritional Diets
Some people, develop anemia due to lack of red cell because of the less iron protein and calcium.
Will there be a development of dietary supplements due to the food crisis?
Yes. In some countries there is a demand for fast foods.


This diet would be good during the food crisis.
Food invented in the last century usually contains unnecessary ingredients or chemicals . Food that your great-great-grandmother wouldn’t have had is not allowed in the Real Food Diet. Fresh foods, meat, poultry, in-season produce, dairy products and good fats. Being on this diet will lead to healthy, nutritious meals.’

1. Eat Food.
Not too Much. Mostly Plants.
2. Eat Superfoods.
Superfoods pack the most nutrients into each serving.
3. Eat Real Foods.
Whether you concerned about salmonella in peanut butter and bisphenol A residue from foods packed in plastic, or just plain confused by misleading food labels, less-processed foods are the answer.
4. Eat Local.
Get your foods locally, so you can ask your farmer how she grows your food.
5. Eat In Season.
Get your nutrition from foods that are in season whenever possible for better nutrition – and taste
In 1894 for diets the minerals and vitamins needed hadn’t been discovered. So there was much loss in developed diets. But since then there have been many minerals and vitamins that are essential to our health and our diets. Also not many bad fats were around so there have been nutritional diets based on keeping saturated fats away. Knowledge about nutrition has widened in the last century.

What are the advantages to some of nutritional diets?
VEGAN:you get a lot of vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants. While not only a healthy option for the body it is also an eco-friendly diet.
VEGETARIAN: Not including meat in diets you tends to eat healthy food
Fun Fact:
In India it is required by law to label vegetarian foods.
