Transcript of Authorization 101

We're on this path together! Authorization Journey IB will conduct a site visit to determine our readiness to offer the PYP. Purpose of the site visit:
*Gather evidence that the school has met authorization requirements
*Identify practices that we can continue to improve
*The team will NOT assess individual teachers, administrators, or parents Logistics of the Visit:
* 2 day visit

*2-3 experienced IB school professionals

*We are required to provide food and beverages for the team during the visit

*We are required to provide ground transportation to and from the airport and hotel

*From the visit, the team will create a formal report to IB. Decision Time!
IB will respond to the team's official report in one of three ways:
1. They grant us authorization
2. Continue our candidacy, schedule another visit
3. Refusal of authorization. Candidacy revoked. Submit Application for Authorization
