The Nerd Summit
Kevin McAlearon 29 April 2013
Transcript of The Nerd Summit
Emerging is a moving target, something that can only be learned through continuous education and enhanced with collaboration. Coupled with the word technology is the practical application of that knowledge. WHY? We want to see people stick around Northwest Ohio. There is this phenomenon in the area coined "brain drain". Great people are leaving the area to find work elsewhere. (California, New York, Texas, other areas in Ohio or Michigan, etc.) We want to bind together with others in the area and show people why they should stay here and even come to our area! CREATE IDEA BUILD EVALUATE BUILD THE HARDWARE ESTABLISH SUCCESS & MEASURE IT GENERATE NEW IDEAS BUILD THE SOFTWARE WE WANT TO CONNECT. NOT COMPETE.
