Organ trafficking is an illegal commerce that involve human organ.

Commercial trade in human organs is illegal in all countries except Iran

Usually, the organ trafficking is control by the Mafia or some criminal organisation.

According WHO, illegal organ trade is when organs are removed from the body for commercial transactions

Illegal organ trade generates profits between $600 million and $1.2 billion per year

The trade involves human traffickers including;
Mobile surgeons,brokers, patients, sellers

Many of the “kidney hunters” are former sellers

Sellers include poor nationals, new immigrants, global guest workers, or political and economic refugees recruited from abroad
Introduction
15 to 30% is in the waiting list for organ transplant die before the transplantation.

In Europe, 40'000 people need a kidney transplant

In USA, 100'000 people need a transplant only 3000 get a new organ

The average time to get a transplant is 10 years

Expand from Asia to the Middle East, Eastern Europe, South Africa, Central Asia, Latin America and the US
