Lady in nearly eighty years. Kennedy often sketched designs for her clothing as First Lady. She won praise for her
beauty, fashion sense, and
ability to speak different languages. Her style
became very popular,
and she was known
for wearing pillbox
hats. Actors, musicians, and intellectuals
were invited so that the tone of official
