Born and raised in Kentwood, Louisiana
When she was 8 years old, she auditioned for a spot on the Disney Channel's "The New Mickey Mouse Club", but didn't make it
She is a singer, songwriter,and actress
Reversal of Fortune
Involved in a bad custody battle for her sons with ex-husband (filed for divorce in 2006)
Started going to clubs and hanging out with Paris Hilton
Started getting into drugs and alcohol
Different boyfriend week
Increase of Awareness
In March of 2008, 2 months after her crisis, she appeared on "How I Met Your Mother"
She then released her next album "Toxic" in December
The next year at the VMA's she won 3 awards
Then in 2011, her next album reached number 1 again, making it 6 albums' that were number 1
As a kid, she was enrolled in dance classes and was great at gymnastics
She then tried out for "The New Mickey Mouse Club" when she was 11 and made it along with Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, and Keri Russell.
She was also on the show "Star Search" in 1992
In December of 1998, she released her first hit single, "...Baby One More Time"
Which reached number 1 by January 1999
Then, at the 1999 Billboard Music Awards, Spears picked up three awards Female Album Artist of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, and Best New Artist of the Year.
