Waxing Gibbous The Correct Answer of This Problem Is The Letter B, First Quarter. Why is B, first quarter, the correct answer? The sun always illuminates exactly one-half of the moon, but we see it at different angles as it rotates around the earth. Why are answer choices A, C, and D the wrong answers?
