Zombie: The body of a dead person given the semblance of life, but mute and will-less, by a supernatural force, usually for some evil purpose.
Origin 1871, of West African origin (cf. Kikongo zumbi "fetish;" Kimbundu nzambi "god"), originally the name of a snake god, later with meaning "reanimated corpse" in voodoo cult. But perhaps also from Louisiana creole word meaning "phantom, ghost," from Spanish sombra "shade, ghost." Sense "slow-witted person" is recorded from 1936.
Zechariah 14:12 ESV

Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until the fury has passed by.

What Does The Bible & History have to say about Zombies

Maybe Mom was right!
Protection Rule #1
Quit making it a fashion statement!
Here are the essentials to the all important gear to wear. Accessories are optional ;-)
Protection Rule #2
Avoid Zombie Fluids and Juices at all Cost.
Not only are they real yucky, you'll end up like them ;-(
Protection Rule #3 - "You Got a Pretty Mouth"
Batter Up! Zombie Down. Keep a Large, Blunt Object nearby and ready to swing at all times. A Bat, Crowbar, or Sturdy Tree Limb usually works nicely.
Protection Rule #4
No Brain, No Pain
Always go for the Head!
Double Tap just to make sure
Preservation Rule #1 - "Don't Get Mauled"
Avoid populated areas like shopping malls and movie theaters. To a Zombie, those are an All-You-Can-Eat Buffet.
Preservation Rule #2 - Stagger & Drool
Learn to Stagger, Lumber and Drool. Make Zombies think you’re one of them. Just pretend you’re a Senior Member.
Preservation Rule #3
"Gotta Trap 'em all"
Set up Booby Traps as Warnings and Alerts:
Trip Wires and Rattling Cans are a good idea.
Preservation Rule #4 - "Go All The Way"
