American Economic Policy with Europe
Smoot- Hawley Tariff was created to help protect American Companies
Drought Conditions
Bank Failures
Bank deposits were uninsured and thus as banks failed, People simply lost there savings
Leftover Banks ( unsure of the economic situation and concerned for their own survival ) were not as willing to create new loans.
because of the Crash and the fears of the further economic woes, individuals from all classes stopped purchasing items.
This led to the reduction in the number of of items and thus a reduction in the work force.
Were not able to keep up with payments done on installments plans. These items that were purchased were repossessed.
What Caused the Great Depression, the Worst Economic depression in the US History?!

Unemployment rate rose above 25%
Because of this, there was less spending to help alleviate the Economic Situation
This was not a Direct cause of the Great Depression
