Should police have the legal right to use drones to enforce laws (ex. Speed zones)?

Could the private use of drones be considered an illegal activity as it pertains to peoples privacy?

Should all drones be treated the same as a restricted firearm/ should there be a long process in order to fly a drone legally?
Are drones projected to cause more problems than they solve? What laws would you propose to utilize drone usage?

A CASE!!
A man from New Jersey saw a drone flying on his property. He pulled out his shot gun and shot it out of the air.
He was arrested and charged with Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose and Criminal Mischief.
Would photograph's taken by drones without permission be admissible in court?
Should drones be subjected to the same tracking system as aircraft? Discuss legal liability and responsibility.
SECURITY THREAT
The Special Flight Operations Certificate is required before flight of any drone above the weight of 2.2 kg. The SFOC could be seen as a background check on the operators of drones. Do you think transport Canada should take further measures to guarantee the security of our citizens?
