acid + metal carbonate → a salt + water + carbon dioxide
acid + metal oxide (or Hydroxide) → a salt + water

Acid + metal = Salt + Hydrogen
To know how to make a salt

We will make a salt with Copper Oxide and Sulphuric acid.
