Born- April 1564

Died- April 1616

Parents- John and Mary Arden Shakespeare
Married Life- William Shakespeare married Anne Hathaway in 1582, who was pregnant at the time with their first daughter named Susanna, they also had twins in 1585 named Hamnet and Judith. Hamnet died at age 11.
Later years- William Shakespeare moved to London around 1591 and became an actor. Shakespeare also worked with the Lord Chamberlain's company of players, later known as king's Men.
Works of Literature- William Shakespeare wrote 37 successful plays. His vocabulary was huge, somewhere between 17,000 and 34,000 words. The estimated vocabulary for an educated person today is around 15,000 words.
Shakespeare's Plays- Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, Hamlet, Othello, and Cymbeline.
William Shakespeare also wrote many more plays that are comedies, histories, and tragedies.
