Is soon to follow... Midsummer Nights Dream is a story of many mistakes involving love. Hermia is sent to court against her father because he is upset about her choice to marry Lysander and not Demetrius. Her choices are to either marry Demetrius, die, or go to a nunnery. She chooses to run away with Lysander with out anyone knowing. Meanwhile Bottom is in frenzy about what part he was given in the play for the duke on his wedding day, it is called Pyramus and Thisbe a comedic and tragic love story, he would like to play all the parts but it was Quince that got to decide. In the forest the fairy Puck is doing nothing but making trouble and messing people up, when sent by Oberon to go make Demetrius fall in love with Helena by putting a special flower liquid in his eyes when he is sleeping, he acidentally on purpose put it in Lysander’s and made him fall in love with Helena. When awakening, Lysander was in love with Helena, Hermia was upset at Helena because of this, Puck had decived them all, and Helena was disgusted because she thought he was joking around. When puck try’s to fix his mistake by putting the liquid in Demetrius’s eyes he just makes it worse. When all that nonsense was going on the mechanicals (the people putting on the play for the duke) were just starting to practice for their play when Oberon decided to start some stuff there too by putting the love flower in Titaina’s eyes when she was napping in the woods to try and make her fall in love with a animal he succeeds when she falls in love with an ass witch turns out to be Bottom with a donkeys head that Puck gave him. Bottom is flattered by Titania’s love, and the things she spoils him with but that is soon over when Oberon wipes there minds clean of the memories ,because he thought it was going too far. Plus he already got what he wanted...The Human Child. But that was not the only thing going too far, Puck was still trying to fix the love cycle that he made from the love flower juice. Puck’s plan was to get Demetrius and Lysander away each other and wait until dark to put a potion that counter acts the love flower juice in Lysander’s eyes to make him stop loving Helena. This works, in the morning Lysander no longer loves Helena, and now loves Hermia again and all is good with nothing but love in the air. Later that day the entire population of the fairies and the four lovers go to watch the play at Theseus’s wedding. In the play A Midsummer Night's Dream, Shakespeare uses the kind of English that was spoken back when he was alive. The writers of this book containing the play used Shakespearian English and Modern day English. Shakespeare uses conjunction words like "e'er", rank'd" and "possess'd" instead of using the whole word. So when reading Shakespearian English keep that in mind. Also When Shakespeare writes he uses very descriptive or tense words such as this line spoken by Hermia "So will I grow, so live, so die, my lord..." in modern day English would simply say "I will live that life gladly... ". Another tip to help under stand shakespeare's language! Are you ready... for the REAL DEAL?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Seems interesting HUH!!! Helena is blonde for a REASON! So joking!! Hermia is Brunette for a REASON! The End... :(
