Transcript of The Middle Passage

The Middle Passage
By: Jazmyn Torres and Me'Seadia Springer
Slave Ships
Ships were often packed tight.
What should we do today as an after-math of the middle passage?
The Middle Passage
The middle passage was the african slave trade or more formally Transatlantic slave trade.
Why is it important that students learn about the middle passage?
It's important for students to know about the middle passage because it's in our history and the students need to know what they did and how they treated those people.
What in your opinion is the worst part of the middle passage?
The worst part of the middle passage was the gathering of the slaves and how brutally they did it, also how they ''carried the slaves'' and traveled. How they were stacked upon one another like cargo and had little to no food or water and no where to use the restroom.
we should teach our students about the middle passage and show them what they did to those people. Show them our history.
