Roald Dahl Pure Imagination

Come with me and you'll be
In a world of pure imagination
Take a look and you'll see
Into your imagination

We'll begin with a spin
Trav'ling in the world of my creation
What we'll see will defy


If you want to view paradise
Simply look around and view it
Anything you want to, do it
Want to change the world, there's nothing to it

There is no life I know
To compare with pure imagination
Living there, you'll be free

If you truly wish to be 1916-1990 Dahl was a fighter pilot in WWII. He had an accident, a plane crash. After being in the hospital for skull, spine, and hip injuries, he was transferred to Washington D.C.. While he was there he met his inspiration. C.S. Forester ( another novelist) encouraged Dahl to write about his adventures in combat. Another inspiration was his children. Every night he told all five of his children bedtime stories. Anyone could see he had a future in writing children stories. His Inspiration
