Days before the Ind. New Spain is Spain's colony.
Spain was on debt, because of war.
High taxes... kept growing up.
New Spain was in an economic crisis, droughts and hailstorms caused the lost of corn. No corn, no food.
Population was segregated in three levels.
Peninsulares: Born in Spain, Living in New Spain.
Creoles: Full Spanish born in New Spain.
Mestizos: Spanish and Native A./ Mulattos: Spanish and African A. Today! Mexico's most important Day,is the Independence Day.

When Father Hidalgo was killed, Jose Maria Morelos y pavon took comand of the Insurgent army... then Vecente Guerrero came after him continuing with the fight. VS On September 16, 1810 Father Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, started the 11 year war, with the famous "Grito de dolores." He gathered thousands of followers. Known as the "Insurgente army." On January 17, 1811 the "Batalla del puente de calderon" (Battle of Calderon Bridge). Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla Jose Maria Morelos y Pavon VIcente Guerrero Mexico was just getting back up from the lost of men, corn, and camps. Iturbide was named emperor, but was forced to quit because of some peoples opinions. The 11 year had also destroyed the communication, fabrics, mines, and Mexico is still in an economic crisis. Mexico is Independent. But the war has left Mexico's people problems. Women has to work more, for food and to take care of the house since men (that fought in the war) were missing. The representative of the people (The president) Enrique Pena Is trying to fix the problems that "he thinks Mexico" has, like gas price, Water, economy, study and the worst the tortilla price's that keeps growing higher and higher. Enrique Pena

Thanks to the terror of Mexico the "ZETAS" (the Mexican mafia) and the GOVERNMENT. People said to him "Don't give up, we're with you!" So if Enrique wants to fix Mexico's problems he has to fix the problems between him and the mafia. "Ya estamos asta la madre," said the admired poet. . .
