HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE
GRAPH OF THE REFUGEE WORLD
Organisations are trying to provide better
international
protection for refugees. This is available to try give refugees
more
than physical
safety.

Refugees
should
receive
freedom
of thought, movement and degrading treatment. This relates to being able to have
economic,
social
rights
,
medica
l care, and the right to
work.

In certain circumstances international organisations provide
assistance
such as
food,

tools, education, shelter
, and clinics.
Nations sometimes offer
'temporary protection'
when they face a
sudden
mass
influx
of
people
causing their regular asylum system to be overwhelmed. In these circumstances people can be quickly
moved
to other
safe
countries for the mean time, but
without
any
guarantee
of
permanent
asylum.
