Munir, Barrios, Wells Poverty Hunger Diseases Ways of Improving Poverty levels in Africa: Helping organizations to improve technology used in contruction Cleaning up the landfills that have been made, also recycling the materials used like wood, fence wire, and plastics. Create even more habitats
for humanities in areas
devastated by nature. We can also improve their living standards by
creating a more advance sewage system to
sanitize their lands rivers.
Showing them proper ways to
perform everyday chores effeiciently
to reduce the amount of work done
pass on the remaining work onto other rigourus
We can also make them become even more
industrialised so that they can improve currency
and labor. AIDS HIV Malaria You are feeding the hungry children in Africa because their parents are not able to provide for them. Their parents are not able to provide for these children because these parents are unemployed and even those employed receive just a little  which cannot cater for themselves and their children. What Africa needs right now is not a massive increase in foreign aids . What African mothers and fathers need right now is not  loaves of bread from charities but how to make these loaves of bread themselves.
AIDS is found throughout the region. In Central Africa, heterosexual transmission accounts for the majority of the cases, with men and women more of less equal. In addition, many women of child bearing age are infected, and HIV transmission from mother to infant is widespread.
The healthcare sector in Africa is showing signs of remarkable improvement as the quality of hospitals and the availability of qualified doctors has dramatically improved over the last few years. By making the transformation from traditional medicine to a modern and well structured healthcare system, many African countries have been able to meet the growing demands for quality healthcare services for their people.
Prompt and effective treatment of malaria is a critical element of malaria control. In Africa south of the Sahara, where most malaria is due to Plasmodium falciparum (a protozoan parasite, one of the species of Plasmodium that cause malaria in humans. It is transmitted by the female Anopheles mosquito) and potentially fatal, early and effective treatment could save many lives. HIV is present to variable degrees in the blood and genital secretions of virtually all individuals infected with HIV, regardless of whether or not they have symptoms. The spread of HIV can occur when these secretions come in contact with tissues such as those lining the vagina, anal area, mouth, or eyes (the mucus membranes), or with a break in the skin, such as from a cut or puncture by a needle. The most common ways in which HIV is spreading throughout the world include sexual contact, sharing needles, and by transmission from infected mothers to their newborns during pregnancy, labor (the delivery process), or breastfeeding. Ways to decrease the amount of people being infected:

Awareness videos
Send Educated Doctors to treat the people so that they can find cures
Teach water cleaning methods
Get parents tested so they dont spread the disease Improvements in decresing hunger
Efficent Farming/Insects in food
Leaders controlled with food distribution
Improve Soil
Food Shelters Debt Slavery Corruption Violence Crime Slavery:

ü In Ghana, they have cultural tradition in which females are given to priest as “slaves of the gods”.

ü Gov’t passed a law to ban such practice in Ghana.

ü West Africa is mostly active on slavery

ü Trade Alliances between countries who are not in war.

ü Some African Countries are rely on HIPC (Heavily Indebted Poor Countries)

ü There will be regulations and sets of rules that countries must follow to become a member of the Alliances.

ü Trade Alliances will help improve the countries’ relationships and their economy as well

ü Tanzania has the deepest Debt.

ü This country has been under debt relief for awhile, and now owes billions from foreign lenders, as well as still continuing on borrowing money,

Tanzania needs to find a way to help its people

ü Nigeria, needs to find other resources, because depending on soo much but not being able to depend on itself is causing itself to be one of the 20th
poorest countries in the world Countries need to meet up with other and think of its people and how they can create job oppurtunies instead of being land hungry and fighting for each other.
Need to know that what they are doing now is the cause of the rest of the world viewing them as the poorest Continent.

Need to set dates of when the country leaders may conference with other of possibly putting their people first than their desires. Solutions to Slavery:

In ports, there should always be an inspection in the ships or boats to examine that they are not slave boats/ships, or not carrying people that are classified as that.
May be random day searches, but can’t be every day.
The corruption can be felt by everyone in this continent, in order for Africa to escape extreme poverty it must address the extreme corruption spiraling out of control.
The organization of the African Union must play a leading role in generating changes although many anti corruptions laws have been passed they are not necessarily enforced allowing for this to continue they must also be careful and hold the government corrupting society from the top accountable by avoiding economic interactions that will ONLY fatten the pockets of African
politicians it is critical for humanity that African no longer remain the scar on the conscience of mankind and change is long overdue.
Why does Africa remain in extreme poverty? Where there is poverty there is corruption although some blame can be partially blamed on lack of infrastructure a vast portion is blamed on political corruption where there is said that political corruption cost Africa nearly 150 billion dollars a year this has a great effect on the people living
there, on June 2004 BBC mentioned that hospitals operated for under the table bribes, schools passed students on exams if bribed with money. Solutions to Corruption, Crime, and Violence
Incease protections to areas that require it
Find people that have more integrity
Replace whole government with new people
(this would create a new wave of ideas to help the country since they have new thoughts)
Reward system for time spent without andy type of corruption
Stabilize the theft by creating a high secutry prison to show them what occurs when you perform Violent tasks
TADAAAAA ! - Trade (Share resources)EX. If one village has wood, and another village has carvers, but not much wood, and ANOTHER village has good trading routes, then support trade with one another! Maybe a bad example, but he point is, if one village or area has resources another lacks, but village/area #2 has something village/area #1 lacks, barter for it if you have to, but try to create a chain that can benefit everyone involved. With debt decreased, and trade increased, reliance on the slave trade should (hopefully) decrease. The money gained by selling slaves should be less necessary than before. Idea 2: <<Debt>>- Decrease taxesLittle money being brought in to government through taxes is used to help the people, so why pay for the lord's banquets? Many civilians can't afford tax rates as is, so if we decrease the rates, they hopefully will be able to use the left over money for food and such, yes? When plans for roads, sewage systems, irrigation, etc. are drawn up, and they lack sufficient funds, then approval will be needed to raise tax rates. Assaults 548,847
