Background
The Vietnam war was a war between North Vietnam and South Vietnam from 1954 to 1975

The war ended in 1973 when the U.S. pulled troops out of Vietnam.

Vietnam became communist two years after the United States left.

Over three million people, including 58,000 Americans, died.

The U.S. and South Vietnam lost the war

The war lasted about 20 years

The North Vietnam (Communist) launch an attack on the South (Democratic) in hopes of unifying the whole country into communism
