NETWORKS Uses of Internet The internet has provided us with the ability to see into other places of the world through video and imagery. It has also made it possible for friends and family to stay connected regardless of distance. WEBPAGE A web page  is a document or information  resource. This information is usually in HTML or XHTML format. WEBSITE A website is a set of related web pages containing content such as text, images,  video, audio, etc. A webpage is a document. HYPERLINK In computing, a hyperlink  is a reference to data that the reader can directly follow, or that is followed automatically. Electronic email is a method of exchanging messages from an author to one or more recipients. Some early email systems required that the author and the recipient both be online at the same time for messaging. Today's email systems are based on astore and forward model. Email servers accept, forward, deliver and store messages. EMAIL Features of an e-mail You can send files along with your emails by using the Attachment feature.
The CC (Carbon Copy) function lets you send a copy of the email to other people.
The BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) function also lets you send a copy of the email to other people. (This function hides the names of the recipients from each other .) Attachment An email attachment is a computer file sent along with an email message. One or more files can be attached to any email message.
