Transcript of Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift is very talented and a great entertainer. The concert was more than her music, which is good since I not only heard Taylor singing, but thousands of screaming high-pitched girls. It was an entire production. Since her songs tell stories, the set, background dancers, costumes all added to the story, making the songs performed more like an entire show. I was also impressed by her genuineness. She did seem truly happy to be there and appreciative of all the people that came.
Between the opening acts and Taylor, the screens next the stage streamed texts sent in from the audience. There was a few common themes: inspiration, role model, love.
Inspiration – many of the texts said Taylor inspired him/her to be a better singer and/or musician.
Role model - parents thanked Taylor for being a great role model for their child.
Love – not surprisingly there were the “TAYLOR I LOVE YOU MARRY ME” texts KEN- How do you deal with setbacks now? A few years ago, you were criticized by a few critics for a performance at the Grammy Awards. Did that shake your confidence? Road to being a st r When Taylor was ten, a computer repairman demonstrated how to strum 3 notes on a guitar, so she began writing her own songs. She started playing the guitar around twelve, and devoted an entire summer to writing a 350 page story. Taylor Swifts Desk A stellar performance at The Bluebird Café in Nashville helped Swift get a contract with Scott Borchetta's Big Machine Records.

She won the hoizen award from CMA and the Academy of Country Music Award for Top New Female Vocalist in 2007.

I heard her music and it touched me, I can relate to all of her songs. She's so down to earth, and makes me giggle. She's kind, loving, caring. She's also helped me to be the real me, taught me that I can actually live out my dream, and to never give up on the things I believe in. The list could go on with reasons how she has inspired me.
She makes me smile and when i was being bullied she gave me strength, when i feel low she makes me smile and when i feel angry she makes me stop and think i am lucky. like her song mean made me think i will be better than my bullies in the future and love story makes me smile because i love English literature also romeo and Juliet.
Taylor has inspired me in SO many ways! She inspired me to teach myself to play guitar and write songs, which has helped me through so much. She has also inspired me to be myself, to be fearless, and to always believe in yourself. And so many other ways! I could go on and on forever about all the ways she has inspired me.

TAYLOR SWIFT- Absolutely. My confidence is easy to shake. I am very well aware of all of my flaws. I am aware of all the insecurities that I have. I have a lot of voices in my head constantly telling me I can't do it. I've dealt with that my whole life. And getting up there on stage thousands of times, you're going to have off nights. And when you have an off night in front of that many people, and it's pointed out in such a public way, yeah, that gets to you. I feel like, as a songwriter, I can't develop thick skin. I cannot put up protective walls, because it's my job to feel things. The kind of magical way that criticism has helped me is that that's another thing that I put into my music. I ended up writing a song called "Mean" about that experience, and about this one particular guy who would not get off my case about it. To stand up at the Grammys two years later, to sing that song and get a standing ovation for it, and to win two Grammys for that particular song, I think was the most gratifying experience I've ever had in my life. NPR Music. Ken Tucker She often visited Nashville, Tennessee, the country music capital. There she co-wrote songs, and tried to land a recording contract. Her family moved to nearby Hendersonville to help her persue her dreams. Flubber snitsle
