Teratophobia In Young Children
Fears are a normal, healthy part of childhood development. They help children learn to make sense of the world around them. For this reason, phobias are generally not diagnosed in kids under the age of 18 unless they last for more than six months.

Introduction To Teratophobia
What is Teratophobia? We will give you a brief understanding before we begin. Teratophobia is the fear of monsters, bearing a deformed child or deformed people. People with this phobia tend to mainly fear things that are deformed, such as giving birth to a deformed child or deformed people.
Triggers of Teratophobia
In children, the fear of monsters and deformed often takes a specific form. Rather than all monsters, they fear a specific thing. For example, they won't fear all monsters, just a specific one like Dracula or Frakenstein. But they may fear all deformed people.
