ENGLISH FOR WORKPLACE COMMUNICATION
The problem arising in the organization is employees did not have a proper place for relaxing their body and mental.
Reason why we make a proposal for building a napping room is to improve the performance level of employees in the workplace.
Japan and United States also implementing napping room in their organization to enhance employee’s quality of work.
Due to the complaints and arguments of the employees for not having enough rest, work extra time and tons of task, we held an interviewing session between the employees:
There’s still a resistance in the corporate world towards sleeping on the job.
30% of participants have admitted to sleeping while on duty.
More than 90% of Americans have experienced a problem at work because of a poor night's sleep.
One in four admit to shirking duties on the job for the same reason.
As a remedy for this problem, we are proposing the napping room should be implemented to each department.
For this we have planned to use an empty room in each department and plan to purchase good quality of equipment.
We refurbish the unused room to build the napping rooms and the concept is where everyone feel like home.
We planned the budget in RM 50,000 to make this project success where around RM 30,000 we will spend for the napping room equipment’s while the balance of the amount will support the renovation.
To satisfied employee’s requirement.
To maintain the relationship between employer and employees.

Offering employees a space to catch a nap is now becoming a common amenity for organization.
Use an empty room in each department to establish the napping room.
Adequate sleep is the most important element of productivity.
Highlighting Do’s and Don’ts of dozing can avoid them misused the facilities.
SIGNIFICANCE OF PROPOSAL (STRENGTHS)
Make a proper space for them to take a nap.
Encourage employees to follow Islamic approach which is Qailullah.
Can increase the quality of works.
Propose the idea to the top management
Introduce the napping room to the staffs in each department
Getting an opinion from the staffs
Getting feedback from the users
Set up the napping room by having gotong-royong
Start using the napping room
The employee will lead to the disciplinary problems.
The employee will misuse the facility given.
Incurred high cost of implementation.
Power naps and relaxation breaks can restore energy and focus during the workday even during mid-afternoon.
Boost employee’s productivity and enhance their motivation to work with diligently.
Part of Rasulullah S.A.W practices which bring benefits to the employees and the organization.
