Willow Chance
Pattie Nguyen
Is Willow's temporary caretaker. She has two children, Quang-Ha and Mai. Mai convinced her mom to take Willow in. Pattie owns a Nail Salon.
Mai becomes friends with Willow when they meet at Dell Duke's guidance counseling trailer. She is there in the first place because her brother, Quang-Ha is not a very good student and needs counseling.

Just lost the two people she loved most, her adopted parents, to a terrible car accident
Family Court says that she will have to be given a foster home for the time being. Right now she is living with a nice family she met.
It usually takes place at The Gardens of Glenwood apartment building, which is Willow's temporary home, and at her caretaker Pattie's nail salon
Dell Duke
Dell is a guidance counselor who met Willow because she did so well on a test that the school thought that she cheated, so she had to start seeing him. Dell Duke lives at the Gardens of Glenwood.
Quang-Ha doesn't like Willow very much because she has to start living with his family when her parents die. The only reason he tolerates it is because Willow does his homework.
