Your Process Template Configurable Items within the Process Designer; Assign default users or groups for each Task.
Duration of each Task within the Process.
Escalations for each task if the duration is exceeded.
Documents to be Automatically created for each Task. Now that the Process Template has been Published,
we can initiate a new ECO Process. Once the initiator starts the ECO Process; They will be prompted to start the ECN Task The first task will be linked to the top level process. The ECN Document will automatically be created. Then the user will be prompted to select the affected parts. INITIATOR The following shows the Process structure once the first task has been finished The Process is the top level object The ECN Task is linked directly to the Process The Part and all Parent Parts are linked to the ECN The ECN document is also easily available A common but configurable ECO Process within Epicor PLM.
Each role of the ECO Process and the automation of previously manual steps.
How all ECO information, affected parts, and supporting documentation can be structured in one location.
How these parts are seamlessly integrated into Epicor ERP systems. The Change Analyst Group will receive a notification
indicating they have a new task assigned.
This task will be assigned to the first user in this
group to start the task. ANDROID

APP STORE Epicor PLM Ignite 2012 Smartphone Apps The Analyst will start the new task and have quick access to the ECN, the associated Part, and all Parent Parts. They will then remove Parent Parts from the ECN that will not be affected by this change. Once the Analyst Finishes this task; New part revisions of the Part and all Parent Parts are created automatically.
A PLM ECM Process Folder is created that will be used to transfer the ECN to ERP.
The State and Permissions of the ECN are automatically changed to allow Engineers to modify the new revisions.
A new Task and Noticfication is sent to the assigned Engineer or group. A look at what was done by Finishing the Impact Analysis Task PLM ECM Process Document
Automatically Created and linked
to Process New Revisions of the affected Parts were created and linked to the ECM Process Folder ECN Document Automatically promoted to PLM Sync with ERP Status THE ECN TASK IS FINISHED NOTIFICATION IS SENT TO ENGINEERING GROUP The Engineering Group will receive a notification.
The assigned Engineer will check out the CAD Model and make the appropriate changes ENGINEERING
TASK The Engineer will make the modification to the parts and assemblies and save the model "as new Revison" into PLM The Engineer then Finishes the task and a Notification is sent to the ERP Group SEND TO ERP The Final Step in the Process is to Start the
"Sync with ERP" Task.
This will automatically promote the ECM Process
Folder to the "Outbox" state.
Changes are sychronized with ERP where parts
and documents are now visible in the '
