You can mix the 3 primary colors into ANY OTHER HUE, but you can't mix them from other colors.

Texture
"Tactile" or "Actual" texture can be felt with your hands.
Visual texture is texture you can't touch, but you can see how it should feel.
Using Opposite Colors
creates contrast. Complements, warm/cool, and light/dark values can make parts of your work "pop."

shapes are rounded, curved or have irregular sides.

Forms
are 3D.
Both SHAPES and FORMS can be geometric.

There are 3 parts of a color:

color scheme
is the combination of colors chosen by the artist.
Create the illusion of space by:
overlapping
changing value/intensity
larger objects closer to the bottom of the page
perspective
more detail on closer objects
create DEPTH on the picture plane
