These are the routines we follow to make sure that our school runs efficiently, stays safe, and allows us to learn.

1.

3. Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself
4. Always follow directions
5. Listen carefully and quietly
Our Classroom Rules
If you are "Caught being good" you will be rewarded with a ticket.
You can get tickets for - turning in homework, being kind to a friend, answering a super tough question, making a good "choice," not breaking a rule, etc.
You are responsible for keeping track of your tickets. I will give you a baggie to keep them in but you must keep them in a safe place.
You will be able to "buy" items with your tickets.
2 students will be selected for an extra reward weekly (spin the wheel).
Big rewards will also take place each quarter.
Your class can also earn paw prints. When one is filled in your class will get to select a reward.
Rewards
1st misbehavior - miss half of recess
2nd misbehavior - miss all of recess
3rd misbehavior - call parent
4th misbehavior - principal's office and other consequences
THESE ARE SCHOOL-WIDE CONSEQUENCES!
THEY WILL BE MARKED IN YOUR AGENDA!
Consequences
Homework is very important. We cannot learn without practice. If you have homework all assignments will be written on the board in ELA. We write all assignments in our agenda!

Homework
It is your job to get your agenda signed EVERY NIGHT! I will be checking every afternoon to make sure you are writing down your assignments and getting it checked by a parent.

No signed agenda or no agenda at all = no recess
IF I CANNOT READ IT,
I WILL NOT GRADE IT!

In the morning you will go straight to breakfast and then the gym.
Once the bell rings you will go directly to your locker, unpack, and come to our classroom.
As soon as you enter the classroom, please find your seat.
Read AR or work on homework.
Attendance will then by taken and announcements will follow.
Morning Procedure
We will have AR goals and STAR goals each nine weeks.
We will keep track of these in our agendas

Rotations
This year 5th grade will rotate for Math, ELA, Reading, and Science/Social Studies.
You will be with different students in each rotation.
You will need your binder, pencils, agenda, and folders ALL day.
You will go to each rotation, each day for 90 minutes.
