Comparing Plant Cell to the Mall
Transcript of Comparing Plant Cell to the Mall
The Nucleus is like the stores manager's because the nucleus controls the activities of the cell just like the manager controls the works in the mall.
The chloroplasts is like the solar panels on the mall's roof because the chloroplasts capture energy from the sun just like the solar panels.
The cell wall is like the mall's building (bricks) because the bricks protect the building. The cell wall protects the cell.
The central Vacuole is like the restroom because the vacuole stores waist like the mall's restroom's.
The endoplasmic reticulum is like the hallway in the mall because the ER is the passageways that cares materials from part of the cell to another.
The Golgi Body is like that retail shops because they receives materials and packages them to another part of the cell just like the retail shops in the mall.
The mitochondria is like the electricity in the mall because mitochondria produces most of the cell's energy.
The cytoplasm are like the shoppers because they fill the mall just like the cytoplasm. The cytoplasm is a liquid that fill everything but the nucleus and that's what shoppers do to the mall.
The cell membrane is like the entrance and exit of the mall because the membrane separates the inside from the outside of the cell, same as exit and entrance of the mall.
The ribosomes is like the food court because the ribosomes is the protein factories in the cell. The food court stores protein as well as the ribosomes.
