Welcome to the National Nonsuch Museum
Leonardo Da Vinci's Embryological Drawings of the Foetus
Leonardo, who was the the father of embryology, studied the formation and maturity of the human foetus.

The Mona Lisa was painted by Leonardo Da Vinci
It was painted in 1503 and took 16 years to paint
Currently, it is in Musee du Lourvre which is Paris.
The official name for Florence Cathedral is Santa Maria del Fiore.
The cathedral was built on September 8, 1296.
The cathedral finished getting built on March 25, 1436. It takes nearly 140 years.
A renaissance artist named Giotto designed the bell tower.
Arnolfo di Cambio designed the cathedral.
The Statue of David was sculpted by the Italian artist, Michelangelo. David is a masterpiece of Renaissance sculpture created between 1501 and 1504.
The statue is 5.17 metre (17.0 ft). Also this statue is made out of marble.
Prophets decided it should be positioned along the roof line of the east end of Florence Cathedral, however the statue was placed instead in a public square, outside the Palazzo della Signoria.
The statue was revealed on 8 September 1504.

In 1911, Employee Vincenzo Peruggia smuggled The Mona Lisa but fortunately found 2 years later when he was selling it in Florence.
The Mona Lisa was actually a painting of Lisa Gherardini Giocondo.
