Made with organic ingredients How can you tell the difference ? Health Costs Environment Benefits DDT is a pesticide that is no longer used, but harmful traces of it still remain in the environment. Traditional farming methods erode soil and leave behind harsh chemicals that take years to disintegrate. Healthy and Safe Builds stronger future generations Helps keeps our water clean Helps protects animals Minimized soil erosion Has more flavor Conserve fossil fuels Some scientists say that organic foods have about the same nutrition as conventional food. U.S. shoppers who consistently choose healthy foods spend nearly 20 percent more on groceries. Organic food is healthier in the way that it doesn't have all of the chemicals and hormones that cause health problems in people. Organic and non-organic foods are determined by how they are grown.
