Appointment With a Stranger
"I nodded and pulled my book out of my bag. On the bottom of my bag, my little pillbox rattled, reminding me that I was supposed to turn it into the nurse for safe keeping. But I wouldn't. Leaving it in someo nelse's hands--especially someone as cold and uninterested as the school nurse-- didn't sound very safe to me."
