Clara always fulfilled her responsibilities as a teacher and a healthcare provider
She was given the title by president Lincoln as the "go to person" for missing men during the civil war.
she always kept her promises to help search for the soldiers and helped identify over 22,000 missing men.
David, Claras brother fell off the top of a barn and was severly close to death. Doctors came and couldn't do anything about it. Clara nursed and took care of her brother for about a year. She stood by his side until he was better.
She never put herself first or worried about putting herself in harms way.
Clara always showed a great amount of respect to the soldiers by giving them not only the care they needed but also meeting their personal needs such as writing home to their families.
