Transcript of How to write a friendly letter!

Where do I start
Friendly Letters
We write friendly letters to people we know well. We might write a friendly letter to our parents, grandparents, or our friends.
Here's an example!
October 8, 2012

Dear Mr. Bussiere,

My third graders this year are very hard workers. I hope you have the time to stop by our room soon. Then, you can see for yourself all the effort they put into meeting their learning goals.

Your Friend,
Mrs. Labbe
What should be included in a friendly letter?
October 8, 2012
The first part of the friendly letter is the date. It should be written in the upper right hand corner of your paper.
Dear Mr. Bussiere,
The second part of your friendly letter is the greeting.

Your greeting should start with a capital and end with a comma.
