Maya Aztec Inca Glyphs were written in rocks Doorways of pyramids look like a monsters mouth Chac is the rain god They have a serpent that was feathered for a god of peace Mayas have ruins that covered the cities They have carvings of Mayan priests Plant corn and beans Mayas have carvings of stone heads are constant reminders of the Mayan civilization Concered most of the Mexican Islands Had human sacrafices They dress as their ancestor Aztecs Have a 1-reed year Warriors attacked the Spaniards They took dead and wounded Spanish people and sacrificed them to their gods paid with stones, gold, food, and feathers Main crop was maize were guided by the image of an eagle and snake which is on the Mexican flags had a rain spirit, Tlaloc had a sun spirit They have a sun god Stones of a building weigh more than 100 tons Farmers grew potatoes They have a festival for the sun on June 21 They had warriors Sometimes they raised guinea pigs so thay could eat them By: Crystal Kephart
