Transcript of Soul Eater

By Sonia and Sasha Soul Eater 101 The characters Maka Albarn BlackStar BlackStar is one of the main Meisters that the series follows. Black Star is one of the survivors of the infamous Star Clan. Which explains why Black Star has a star on his shoulder. His Demon Weapon partner is Tsubaki Nakatsukasa. He is a Shadow Weapon Meister. He has one main goal in his life and that is to surpass the Gods. He is a loud person who tries to catch everyone's attention, trying to make himself the star of the show. He doesn't often listen to the advice of his weapon partner, bursting into assasination missions with usually ends up with his defeat. Death the Kid "A sound soul, dwells within a sound mind, and a sound body" Summary In Soul Eater, meister Maka Albarn and her weapon partner Soul Eater are students at the Death Weapon Meister Academy, or DWMA for short, located in the fictional Death City, in Nevada, United States. All miesters have a partner who can turn into a weapon, making them a miester-weapon team. The school has many other students including Black Star with his weapon partner Tsubaki, and Death the Kid with his twin weapon partners Liz and Patti. The school is run by Shinigami-sama, Lord Death himself, as a training facility for weapons and the human wielders of those weapons, the meisters. Maka's goal, along with the other meisters, is to have their weapons defeat and absorb the souls of ninety-nine evil humans (or better known as kishin eggs, kishin eggs eat human souls to obtain more power and become kishins that are powerful enough to destroy the earth) and one witch, which will dramatically increase the power of the given weapon and thus be capable of being used by shinigami; these weapons are called Death Scythes. In the universe of Soul Eater, witches are powerful beings and the natural enemies of DWMA, as almost all of them have a destructive nature and almost all desire anarchy and chaos. Soul Eater Evans "People need fear to survive. We experience it so we can grow stronger." "If you forget your fear you become reckless." Maka is Soul's miester. She is the more level-headed of the two but when her anger gets the better of her, she will put her foot down. Where Soul seems to be the brawn, Maka is the brain. She always tries to think of a way to beat their opponent by exploiting the opponent's weaknesses. Her father is the Shingami's current death scythe. She seems to hate her father for constantly flirting with other women but she still loves him. Her mother was also a scythe miester; she and Maka's father are divorced. Maka seems to be annoyed at the fact that her body hasn't developed yet (which is the center of some jokes in the series). She usually kicks Soul after he does something perverted or if he and Blair have been acting too friendly. Dr. Stein saw her soul and told her she was a "serious person who tries hard." Soul Eater, "Soul" to his friends, is Maka's Scythe partner. His human appearance is that of a teenage boy with a forever present drool mark coming from his mouth. He acts like a normal teenager and his personality mostly consist of what he considers "cool". Being a "cool" guy, he almost always uses the direct approach which most of the time fails. He sometimes becomes too driven by the idea of eating souls, which leads him to bicker with Maka, but in the end they remain friends and partners. His way of absorbing souls is by literally eating them. He says that it's the texture, not the taste, that matters. When Dr. Stein saw his soul, he said it was that of "a twisted person with a sarcastic soul." Tsubaki Nakatsukasa. Unlike her partner, Black Star, Tsubaki Nakatsukasa is quiet and patient, a counterpoint to her partner's impatience. She's often disheartened by Black Star's attitude, but has great faith in the boy, so she stays with him.Unlike the other weapon partners, Tsubaki has five forms she can use to aid Black Star – a chain scythe, a huge shrunken ninja throwing star, a smoke bomb, a ninjat (traditional ninja sword), and even a copy of Black Star for distraction purposes. However, this ability to take on multiple forms has brought Tsubaki against her older brother Masamune, who was supposed to have inherited that ability, sending the young man along the path of becoming a kishin. Death the Kid is Patty and Liz’s miester and the Shinigami’s son. He is called Kid by his friends and family. At first glance, he seems to be perfect in every aspect. But he has one major flaw: he is completely obsessed about everything being symmetrical and takes the idea of perfection to the extremes. To him, anything symmetrical is beautiful and if it’s off by any measurement, he will try to correct it right away. The biggest problem Kid has with is his hair one side being completely black while the other has three white strips going across it. Showing Kid anything that is too unsymmetrical or mentioning his hair will send him into a state of massive depression. His father has mentioned that Kidd is already a shinigami and doesn’t need to collect souls but Kidd says he wants to make a weapon of his own. His father also says that since he uses two weapons, he will have to collect twice as many souls. If he sees anything perfect or symmetrical get broken or destroyed, it will send him into a blind rage where he will unload all of his power to erase the offensive sight from his eyes. He has a flight-capable skateboard called Beelzebub, which he uses as a form of short distance transportation. Liz and Patty Thompson Liz Thompson is a cautious girl who doesn't rush into situations quickly. Patty Thompson is a bubbly, happy virus that is fearless. The sisters are very different from each other which makes them a compatible duo. Liz is usually very afraid and very self soncious while Patty believes Liz is afraid of nothing and can do every thing. They grew up on the streets and where found by Kid who brought them into a life of luxury. "You don’t understand anything, do you?! The most important thing isn’t power, it isn’t courage, it isn’t even having friends! The only thing that matters is that you can rely on ME." "The Camellia Blossom also know as Tsubaki, is a flower without fragrance. It proclaims nothing, blooming in silence. When the blossomed pettles scatter, it's quietly tragic. I am Tsubaki. A silent flower without fragrance." "I'm going to keep fighting until this world is the way it should be. Until the world is balanced." Kay, we're done, you may applaud now!
