Super Smash Bros. 4 Veteran Fighters
The Beginning Of Super Smash Brothers
Here are some predictions for newcomers.
There have been many rumors about newcomers and veterans. These are some of them.
Newcomers are the new characters coming Super Smash Bros. 4. Gamers loved some of the newcomers, but not all of them.
A veteran fighter is a Smash Brothers character that appeared in the previous Smash Bros game and is coming back in the new one.
In 1999, a couple of years after the Nintendo 64 came out, a fighting video game, created by Masahiro Sakurai, was introduced. The game was named Super Smash Bros. and more than a million copies of the games were sold in Japan. On September 14, 2001, the GameCube was launched. Gamers liked the console, but most gamers did not because there not enough Rated M games for the GameCube. Nintendo asked Sakurai if he could make another Smash Brothers game and Sakurai accepted and he made Super Smash Bros. Melee. Seven years later, Super Smash Bros. Brawl came out for the Wii and was nominated as the 2008 Best Fighting Game.

Many gamers thought that Brawl would be the last Smash Brothers came because of the saying in the game, "One brawl to end them all." Until in E3 2012, Nintendo announced another Smash Bros game in development by Masahiro Sakurai. The trailer was shown in E3 2013 and everyone in E3 was excited.

Super Smash Bros. 4 Newcomers
(Least Popular to Most Popular)
Wii Fit Series
Wii Fit Trainer
Yes, gamers, this is a newcomer for one of the best fighting games ever created. There are a lot of bad things about this character. First, her moves: They are based off of exercises. Second, nobody wanted this character. People prefer another character to be in the game. Finally, this character is supposed to help people exercise, not fight and she has that annoying voice when Wii Fit Trainer defeats another player. When Brawl came out, Nintendo saw little kids that were mimicking some of the characters in the game. Nintendo thought it would be a great idea to put this character in the game because of that.
Super Mario Brothers Series
Rosalina and Luma
Super Mario Galaxy
This character is pretty popular right now. When Nintendo announced a newcomer from Super Mario Galaxy, many gamers thought it would be Bowser Jr., but instead, it was Rosalina and Luma. With many powers, they can be controlled in different places in the game with just on controller. Both have different powers and can be controlled in different locations. This is why Rosalina and Luma are popular.
Animal Crossing Series
Why is this a popular character? Because of Villager's moves. At E3 2013, when this newcomer was announced, gamers thought it would be useless, but after watching the trailer and Nintendo explaining the character's moves, gamers were stunned of how Villager was in this fighting game. As Villager, you can grow trees and then cut it down or launch a fire hydrogen to your opponent. Even grab your opponent's missiles or other objects. Nintendo wanted a character from an E rated game to join Super Smash Bros. 4 and Villager was the right one.
First Appearance: MegaMan/RockMan
MegaMan (A.K.A. RockMan) is the most popular newcomer for Super Smash Bros. 4. His attacks are awesome and most of them are based off of MegaMan 2 because Sakurai thought it was the most popular MegaMan game. All of his attacks are weapons except for one. Also, Rush, MegaMan's robotic dog, is in the game as one of MegaMan's moves. Everyone at E3 2013 was excited when they saw the MegaMan trailer. MegaMan was actually suppossed to be in Brawl, but gamers prefered Sonic the Hedgehog.
Ness is a character from the Mother Series/Earthbound Series and appeared both in Melee and Brawl. It has been rumored that this picture was in the official Smash Brothers website, but then was deleted. This could also be a fake because Ness does not have a shadow like the rest of the characters do.
Jigglypuff is a pokémon that has been in all Smash Bros. games, so it's very likley she is going to be in it. These images are probably fake, but Jigglypuff has appeared in every Smash Bros. game, so she could most likely be in the game.
Palutena is a female character from Kid Icarus. She has appeared in Brawl as part of Pit's final smash and a trophy. These two pictures were taken from a 3DS. These probably are real because gamers always wanted Palutena to be in Smash Brothers, the original Palutena from Kid Icarus: Uprising looks almost identical to the leaked picture, and Mashiro Sakurai also developed Kid Icarus: Uprising.
Gamers have always wanted PacMan the be in Smash Brothers and now that Namco is helping develop the game, he could possibly be in it. This picture was leaked and most believe it is real, but take a picture from PacMan and The Ghostly Adventures and flip it, it looks exactly like the PacMan in the leaked Smash picture making this a fake.
More Super Smash Bros. 4 Rumors
Super Smash Bros 3DS and WiiU
The 3DS version and WiiU version will have different names. It has been rumored that the 3DS version will be called Super Smash Bros. Memories and retro characters, like DigDug and Scrooge McDuck, will be playable in 8-Bit. The WiiU version might be called Super Smash Bros. Universe. Maybe because of the
in Universe and in WiiU.
Third Party Characters
Metal Gear Solid Characters
Third party characters are characters from different game franchises, like Sonic or Snake, that join a different game franchise. MegaMan is the only third party newcomer announced, but now that Namco and Capcom are also helping develop Smash Brothers 4, a newcomer from those game franchises might be in Super Smash Bros. 4
Super Smash Bros. 4 Game Play
Totaka's Song is a 19 note melody composed by Kazumi Totaka. The song is an easter egg found in all video games composed by Kazumi Totaka. Totaka's Song was first put into a game called
, but was first discovered in
. Some gamers think they know where it might be in Super Smash Bros. 4. Also, K.K. Slider is based off of Kazumi Totaka and he also does the voice of Yoshi.
First Appearance: Punch-Out!!
This newcomer was announced on February 14, 2014: Valentine's Day. Was is this character popular? Because every gamer wanted Little Mac as a newcomer for Smash. Although he was an assist trophy in Brawl, gamers wanted to be a playable character. You can here his trainer, Doc Louis, cheering him on. Sakurai thought it would be fair to add him, so he did. Little Mac's moves are almost like Donkey Kong's, though.
Sonic Boom Theory
Cartoon Network is making a new television series based on Sonic the Hedgehog called Sonic Boom. Sega is also making a game based off of the television show. All of the characters look different in the show and game, so maybe Sonic is going to look different and if other Sonic characters are joining the battle, they might look different.
Final Smashes and Move Sets
A Final Smash is when a player hits the Smash Ball and gains their special power to unleash unto enemies.
