FISH PHILOSOPHY
Main Idea
FISH PHILOSOPHY is a technique to make individuals alert
and active in the workplace modeled
after the Pike Place Fish Market in Seattle.
We have deepened this methodology building on the activities that we have already made and increasing new ones.We know that emotional intelligence will play a fundamental role in the social and future employment of our pupils.

Parents choose our school because they are satisfied with these methodologies and teachers who teach them.
The students show they are the main characters of their own learning process being a positive reinforcement to help them grow as a person.
Our workmates are not only the teachers, but all people that work in the centre to make all that possible.

As the teachers do, we have set up a paper with smiles that invites parents to take one and be ready to have a good day.
Next to the principal gate, there is a poster which is sticked there the school foundation.

Making presentations about Subjects or topics in which they are experts.
Acting in plays

Making someone's day
Teachers and parents are connected in Class Dojo and the School diary.
By this way parents can write to the teachers about the progress of their children.
Before we usually share information with class dojo we used to have "the game of the class" and we inform to parents how they children were working on class by Agenda.

We keep in touch by e mails, letters or postcards with teachers that worked in the school some time ago.

MAKING SOMEONE'S DAY
In the staff room also, we have displayed a flower which is plenty of butterflies that has de name and the birthday of each teacher.
At Christmas time the staff members do Secret Santa. In a big display we are giving clues, so we can guess who is going to give us the present.
Teachers choose some of the songs that sounds at the entrance and exit times of the school.
Every Friday one teacher has to bring some special for all the colleagues.

DAY MENU: Our students can choose their attitude when they go in the classroom. There is a smiley face and angry face on the door to remind them it's up to them.

SCRACHT: Pupils that at the end of the week have got ten points related to his/her behaviour have an award as they can bring a pet to school, play with the tablets, sit with another classmate...
BINGO: They can play BINGO related to maths, they can practice numbers, multiplications, divisions,...
