Fingerprints on the page Voice I Like S'mores Showing your Voice -Emotions/feelings/passion Scrumptious S'mores! S'mores are one of my favorite desserts. Every time my family and I go camping outdoors or start the fire-pit in the backyard, we break out the Hershey's chocolate, crumbly graham crackers, and fluffy white marshmallows. My family likes to roast their marshmallows over the fire until they are lightly toasted on the outside and ooey gooey on the inside. I don't hold back at all, though! I choose the biggest marshmallow from the bag, stick it on the skewer, and place it right into the hottest part of the fire. My eyes glow and my heart fills with excitement as the flames engulf my marshmallow and it catches on fire. I love when that happens! I stomp proudly around the fire and pretend that my fiery marshmallow is a torch. Just when the marshmallow is burnt to a crisp, I quickly blow out the fire and cram the blackened marshmallow in between two pieces of graham crackers and chocolate. My marshmallow may be blackened and burnt, but it is the ooiest, gooiest, and most delicious marshmallow of all! Little Voice BIG VOICE Transformation Can yours be heard? -Details, details, details! S'mores are very good. When my family and I go camping or use the fire-pit in our backyard, we always make s'mores. We put our marshmallows on skewers and then we put them above the fire to get a little toasted. I like my marshmallow to be more toasted than theirs, so I put mine in the flames. It gets really hot and catches on fire. Sometimes I pretend it is a torch. The fire makes my marshmallow really mushy. I blow the fire out and put my marshmallow, chocolate, and graham crackers together. My s'more tastes really good. -Tone/Personality -Word choice and sentence fluency -Think of your audience -Omit cliches, generalities, and dull statements
