Insects, Insects everywhere!
An insect's antennae:
What are Insects?
Insects are small animals that have what you call an exoskeleton, meaning their skeleton is on the outside.
Insects also have three body parts, six legs, and two antennae.
Two compound eyes
and some but not all have wings
An Insect's legs:
An insect's eyes:

Grasshopper
Lady Bug
Dragonfly
'The insect's body parts:
An insect has 6 legs.
Insects' antennae come in all shape and sizes.

Just a few types of insects:
beetle
An insect has two compound eyes made up of lots of separate visual pieces.
Some but not all insects have wings.
The ones that have wings have 2 pairs.
