Transcript of Genetically Modified Blueberry

What is GMF?
Genetically modified foods are foods produced from organisms that have had specific changes introduced into their DNA using the methods of genetic engineering.
my opinion about GMFs:
I don't agree with the GM foods because Most of the concern surrounding GMF relates to their potential for negative effects on the environment and human health. Because GMF’s that could directly effect human health are primarily products that can enter the human food supply. And they are not natural so we don't know what are we exactly eating .
people's opinion
"we don't really like to eat GM blueberries
because they are not as healthy
as organic foods but they taste
better and we don't have to
worry about pesticides".
what are the pros and cons of this modification??
pros cons
Genetically Modified Blueberry
Some companies decided to genetically modify blueberries in order to make them resistant to certain insects which destroy crops and make it extremely difficult for them to grow. Genetically modified fruits and vegetables, including blueberries, do not need to be sprayed with dangerous pesticides because of the fact that they have been modified genetically to resist problems with insects which can be a serious problem for non GM fruits/crops.
How have blueberries been geneticallly modified ?
