Bethany Hamilton is a surfer who was "attacked by a 14ft tiger shark which caused her lost her arm.She lost 60% of her blood. Competes in surfing with one arm.Competing against National Championship surfers. Opinion: She is very positive. "Bethany was on her way to recovery with an unbelievable positive attitude."
Tom Dempsey
Barriers:
Tom Dempsey is a former N.F.L. kicker born without toes on his right foot. Tom Dempsey likes to hit people. He got kicked off the team for punching one of his coaches. On his high-school team he got knocked out. Opinion: He is a very good N.F.L. kicker, "Dempsey is very good because he is the only N.F.L. kicker to kick 63-yards without any toes on that foot."
Barriers For 2 More Different Athletes:
WILMA RUDOLPH "was born with prematurely, weighing 4.5 lb's. She developed pneumonia and polio as a child. Wilma participated in a track meet at Tuskegee Institute, where she lost every single race. Wilma and her family was poor and had alot of things to overcome." Opinion: She is the most famous athlete in the world.She is "one of the most famous athletes in the world." OPINION: Wilma is a really good track runner. " Wilma participated in a track meet at tuskegee institute, where she lost every race. A year later, at the age of 16, Wilma won a bronze medal at the 1956 olympics in Melbourne,Australia.
SIMON KEITH a 24-year old forward from the university of Nevada had some kind of heart problems. While as a forward for the university he had a transplant. Simon had kidney damage from three drugs. In April he was sent to the biggest transplant center in Canada. OPINION: Is a really good soccer player and has problems in his life. " A 24-year-old forward from the university of Nevada,Las Vegas. The word is that it is a heart problem.... A Transplant.

Instead of aiming at the field goal he aimed at a fan and kicked and hit them

Wilma Rudolph
Wilma was poor but she didn't let that get in her way to become an olympic trackstar. At a track meet in Tuskegee Institute she lost every race. Wilma was single and had a baby girl so Wilma couldn't run track anymore, but she still ran track.

He had heart transplants. Simon has kidney damage from three drugs. He caught a disease called viral myocarditis. This disease "had destroyed part of his heart muscle, and his the heart could not pump blood efficiently."
