Transcript of Tacos
A taco is a very popular mexican food consisting of a tortilla folded and filled with various mixtures like beef and chicken.
One unique feature of a taco is how many different ways it can be served. Tacos can be on a flour or corn tortilla, and they can be filled with many different things. They can be filled with beef, steak, chicken, fish, and beans. You can also add many toppings to tacos like cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, peppers, salsa or pico de gallo, and avocado. Tacos can also be a breakfast food. Some poular breakfast tacos include potato, egg, chorizo, and bacon.
How it is today
Tacos can be served with some side dishes like rice, beans, guacamole, and chips and salsa. Today, you can get tacos just about everywhere, but only some are real and authentic. At a place like taco bell, you can get many types of tacos, but they are not authentic and don't compare to real tacos. In big cities all around the US, there are many great mexican restaurants with great tacos. The best tacos that you can get are right from Mexico, or in places near Mexico like south
The history of tacos is relatively unknown, but they may have originated in the 18 century in silver mines in Mexico. They used the word taco in the mines to refer to the little charges they would use to excavate the ore. One of the first types of tacos described were tacos de minero, or miner's tacos. While we dont know the exact origin, this may be a possibility.
