Introduction
In the 1960's African Americans were getting rights and schools were integrating.
The 1960's
The Supremes came from a poor housing project in Detroit. They started of as the Primettes.

They changed peoples misconceptions about colour and race
The Supremes
The fashion was changing. Boys hair was getting longer and girls skirts were getting shorter.

The Supremes got signed by Motown record company. They were taught many things at the Motown finishing school.
The Beginning
Where did our love go was the Supremes first major hit. They became an international sensation to everyone, black and white young and old.

They were on many television shows and were the face of beauty, glamor and unity

They dressed in an elegant manor and changed peoples ideas on African Americans.
Impact
The Supremes went for an feminine style and acted in a very refined way.

The Supremes fame had to come to an end. They started having problems. Florence Ballard was replaced by Cindy Birdsong.
The future
Diana Ross went of to have a solo carrier and the group was never the same again but always were famous to the public. Until there final bow at the Dury Lane Theatre in London.
