Transcript of drawing board

drawing board
A large flat board on which paper may be spread for artists or designers to work on.
TRIANGLES
Types of Triangle by Angle. In an equiangular triangle, all the angles are equal—each one measures 60 degrees. An equiangular triangle is a kind of acute triangle, and is always equilateral. In a right triangle, one of the angles is a right angle—an angle of 90 degrees. A right triangle may be isosceles or scalene
T-SQUARE
A T SHAPE INSTRUMENT USED FOR DRAWING OR TESTING RIGHT ANGLES
protractor

An instrument for measuring angles, typically in the form of a flat semicircle marked with degrees along the curved edge.
Drawing pencil
The leads of drawing pencils are made with ground graphite and a filler, and the ratio of one to the other determines what grade of hardness a pencil is.
TECHNICAL PENCIL
A technical pen is a specialized instrument used by an engineer, architect, or drafter to make lines of constant width for architectural, engineering, or technical drawings.
FRENCH CURVE
A French curve is a template usually made from metal, wood or plastic composed of many different curves.
SCALE
each of the small, thin horny or bony plates protecting the skin of fish and reptiles, typically overlapping one another.
template
a shaped piece of metal, wood, card, plastic, or other material used as a pattern for processes such as painting, cutting out, shaping, or drilling.
COMPASS
an instrument containing a magnetized pointer that shows the direction of magnetic north and bearings from it.
ERASER
an object, typically a piece of soft rubber or plastic, used to rub out something written
drafting tape
Drafting tape is also relatively low-odour compared to other types of tape. Its odor is similar to electrical tape, but less rubbery and more papery.
